Hello prospective roommate!
Do you want to live in a light and airy pad, with a pool on your doorstep surrounded by shady trees, with laid-back housemates who are definitely not your run-of-the-mill Singapore-expat types? Well, look no further – you might have just discovered the holy-grail of rooms for rent….
We are currently a very happy, chilled out and eclectic bunch.
We are looking for an awesome, friendly human being to take the room (if you are slightly alternative, with a bizarre background, or have unusual hobbies or unique outlooks on life, even better! If not, that's ok too). We are looking for someone who is up for being friends, rather than just a phantom housemate. The en-suite room is 142 sqft, furnished with a double size bed with a comfy mattress.
The condo has a gym, pool table, karaoke room (not sound proofed, though, so if you’re hoping to practice your crooning away from prying ears, this is not the set up for you), BBQ pits and a lovely pool that is ideal for swimming laps.
We are less than three minutes walk from the Tanah Merah MRT (green line), so only about 15 minutes into town. We have food courts and a 24-hour supermarket seven minutes away. The airport is around five minutes away on the MRT. If shopping is your thing, there are also malls galore within a few minutes from the door.
Living arrangements: You can cook, you can fight us for the remote (it’s very democratic), and are welcome to hangout with us on the patio overlooking the pool. (Did we mention the pool? It’s a very nice one…)
We will also respect your privacy, and will not come pestering you to play with us if you need some “alone time”.
We are all clean and tidy, but not obsessively so. We would hope that you are also, in this respect at least, quite “normal”. If you’re a slob we will have to have words, and gently coax you into doing your washing up. We also have a lovely lady who comes to clean on Mondays, so there is no need to draw up a rota for washing the floors. ;)
We are sociable and happy to meet new people; guests are welcome to come and hang out, and to crash on the couch (within reason, of course! We are not running a squat…)
